Foxy lady

I held my breath as this young female fox (called a vixen) walked closer to me. She was too busy hunting for yummy morsels in the field to notice that I was there...I kept my face hidden with the camera and that worked for a surprisingly long time.

A very trusting animal.

As soon as she realized that I was there and a possible threat, she scampered off.

I was grateful that she had given me an opportunity to capture her in her natural habitat.
